Lowell Police Officer Steve Alexander
Officer Steve Alexander is currently a police officer with the Lowell (MA) Police Department. Prior to that, he worked for the Melrose Police Department and the Merimack College Police Department. Steve has completed 80 hours of EVOC Training given by the Massachusetts State Police. He graduated number one in his driving section. Steve continued his driver training by attending the Skipp Barber Advanced Driving Course in Connecticut and the Rupert Bragg-Smith Course in Nevada and the 40 hour Harley Davidson Police Motorcycle Course.
Officer Alexander has attended advanced training and versed himself in driving dynamics at his own expense. He is dedicated to the field of driver training and it's importance in the field of law enforcement. Steve is a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law. His background, training and education gives Steve a unique perspective with the liability aspects, legal aspects and policy formation of police pursuits.
Officer Alexander is the Northeastern Associate to the Police Driving Site and is a frequent contributor to the Police Driving Site.
