This seminar can be taught in a 1 or 2
hour block and is an overview of police pursuits in America today.
Using a combination of video and discussion, this seminar will bring
attendees the most current and detailed information available on this
pressing law enforcement issue. This seminar is designed for
conferences and instructor update forums.

Captain Travis Yates, owner of
www.policedriving.com and
columnist for www.policeone.com
is one of the available instructors. Captain Yates commands
the Precision Driver Training Unit with the Tulsa, Okla. Police
Department and is a nationally recognized driving instructor
including expertise in tire deflation devices and the pursuit
intervention technique. Captain Yates has a Master of Science Degree
in Criminal Justice from Northeastern State University and is a
graduate of the FBI National Academy.
In 2005, Captain Yates was honored by the
Advanced Drivers of
America as a Honorary Fellow and in 2008 he received the Police
Trainer of the Year Award by
Law Officer Magazine.
Travis writes a monthly safety column for
Police One and is a frequent contributor to
Law Officer Magazine
and Police Link. |
